1967 Pontiac GTO Hardtop Coupe
The Pontiac GTO is a piece of automotive history: it arguably invented the “muscle car” as we know it, and it remains a highly desirable classic to this day. This particular example has reportedly undergone an extensive restoration process, and the end result is impressive. It boasts a built Butler Performance V8 engine paired with a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission – along with a long list of other upgrades like an Eaton limited-slip differential, a Holley Sniper fuel injection system, and Vintage Air air conditioning.

THIS is a 1967 Pontiac GTO Hardtop Coupe, finished in Plum Mist with a black interior.
This GTO was restored from 2013 to 2025. Its factory-fitted drivetrain was reportedly replaced by a Butler Performance 467-cubic-inch V8 and a Tremec TKX 5-speed manual transmission during the restoration.
A partial list of notable currently installed equipment includes a Cold Case aluminum radiator, a Holley Sniper fuel injection system, Hooker long-tube exhaust headers, QA1 coilovers, a Dakota Digital instrument cluster, and Vintage Air air conditioning.
The original GTO is arguably the first true American muscle car. Pontiac wanted to release a more powerful version of the Tempest, but parent company General Motors had a 330-cubic-inch limit on engine displacement in this segment. The rule didn’t apply to option packages, so Pontiac dropped a 389-cubic-inch V8 into the Tempest and offered it at an extra cost. Sales started in 1964, and the GTO was made a standalone model in 1966. The nameplate finally retired in 2006.
Power comes from a 467-cubic-inch V8. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
